Stuttgart: trade shows in March, concerts and spa for the after-show

Stuttgart, Capital City of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, is an interesting city from many points of view. It’s a city full of monuments, home to an important trade fair, and it boasts a high cultural standard, with plenty of events, concerts and shows held throughout the year. Stuttgart is also very famous because its Bad Cannstatt district is home to Europe’s largest spa: more than 19 sources, of which 11 are considered therapeutic. In the same district there is the Wilhelma zoo, hosted within the famous Rosensteinpark, and a major event is held every year in September, the beer festival Cannstatter Volksfest.

But now let’s get down to business, with Stuttgart’s trade shows through March, along with the events and concerts for the after-show. There are plenty of trade fairs in Stuttgart during March. Most are set up inside the exhibition center Messe Stuttgart, located in Messepiazza.

March 13 to 15, SüdTec, Messe Stuttgart. This is a sub-contracting exhibition, with over 200 companies presenting their products and services. Among them: plastic injection-moulded parts, metal products, suppliers of raw materials and semi finished products. Many Small and Medium-sized German companies will be attending the Fair.

However, Man cannot live on…Fairs alone. Even the post-Fair is important for the well-being of business men and women alike.

The first source of well-being is definitely a regenerating thermal bath. In town, there are two major centers: the main and best known spa is located in the Bad Cannstatt district, the other one, close to the first, is that of Leuze. They are both well equipped with excellent facilities and a professional staff ensuring a complete relaxation.

Stuttgart hosts many theaters and cultural centers. The main ones are the Staatstheater and the Staatsgalerie, being respectively the national opera house, and an excellent art gallery. In the city there are also two theaters used for musicals, the Apollo Theater and the Palladium Theater.
