On the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8th, we would like to pay tribute to the German feminist movement. Generally, if you think about 19th century and 20th century great personalities of German art and culture, those who come to mind are mainly men: Nietzsche, Einstein, Marx, Kafka, Thomas Mann, Richard Wagner, Joannes Brahms, and so on. However, the German history of the last 200 years is full of female characters who started dealing with the issues of women’s self-determination, their actual role in society, as well as their importance in the relations within institutions, politics and the family.

Europa Park, main amusement park in Germany

Rust is a German village of less than 4000 inhabitants, in Baden-Württemberg. Every year, in this small town on the border with France, over 4 million people flock to Europa-Park, the second largest amusement park in Europe after Disneyland Paris. Europa-Park was founded in 1975 by the Mack family, who are a leader amusement ride manufacturing company in the world.

ChocolArt: the Chocolate Festival in Tübingen

From November 29 to December 4, in Tübingen, Baden-Württemberg region, Germany’s the most important chocolate festival will take place, one of the most prestigious in the world. It is ChocolArt, which will see master chocolatiers from five continents, competing to achieve the best cocoa-based products: more than 200 thousand visitors of ChocolArt will be judging the artworks prepared during the festival. Africa, South and North America, Europe, Asia: about a hundred master chocolatiers will meet in Tübingen for ChocolArt, in the setting of the beautiful city of Baden-Württemberg region, Germany.

No electronics and no special effects: Spiel is only tables and playing cards, old-fashioned strategies applied to new concepts, rounds where to build strength, power and success. Wilhelma Zoo and Botanical Garden in Stuttgart: amusement park and wonders

There are more than two and a half million visitors every year flocking to the great outdoors Wilhelma Zoo in Stuttgart: all in a row to admire more than 1000 animal species and over 6000 plant species in the botanical gardens. The park is open all year, just at different times depending on the season. The entrance for a couple with children is 30 Euros, but the show that you can attend is well worth the ticket price.
