Beauty International Düsseldorf: the international fair for cosmetics and more

For cosmetics, pedicure and wellness professionals, the weekend from 18 to 20 March, 2011, is one of the highlights of the year. In Düsseldorf takes place Beauty International, the international exhibition for suppliers of cosmetic services, which brings together over 1250 exhibitors from around the world. Over 50 thousand visitors and experts are expected to exchange views on a sector that is not afraid of crisis, and which in Europe alone has an annual turnover of over 35 billion Euros.

In the three days of Beauty International, there will be over a hundred events and meetings organized in the conference rooms of the exhibition grounds of Düsseldorf, located in the district of Stockum. The Fair is easily accessible by car from the motorway – and by public transport or taxi from the airport. Messe Düsseldorf has an exhibition area of about 250 thousand square meters with 17 pavilions: the Beauty International Dusseldorf will be held in Halls 9 (Foot and Wellness), 10 (Meeting Point), 11 (Cosmetics cash & carry), 12 (Nail & Pedicure) and 13 (accessories for salons).

Special events will allow visitors to enter directly into contact with the atmosphere of the exhibition: for example in Hall 10 will be set up special ‘sensory’ stations as well as acoustic and visual installations by great performers like Georg Ortner. Ample space will be devoted to the topic of nature & beauty, with the latest natural products and complementary and alternative treatments.

During the three days, many workshops with demonstrations will be held by major manufacturers and taught by leading experts such as Professor Michael Schmidt.

In the days of International Beauty, tens of thousands of traders and professionals come to city and fill all available rooms in Düsseldorf’s hotels. So early booking is warmly recommended.
